Communities Scotland has produced an advice note to support people who want to ensure community engagement is inclusive and promotes equal opportunities. This practical advice is designed to be used along with the National Standards for Community Engagement.

The advice note is strongly based on experience of equalities groups in community engagement activity. Four seminars were held involving equalities groups, and equalities representative groups provided recommendations on how to engage with specific communities.
